Status: Part-time, Temporary, Contract

Wage: $15 - $25 an hour
 

London Math Solutions' educational program seeks skilled and experienced tutors in Math and Science subjects for students 8-20 years age group. We help both struggling and smart students reach their full potential by supplementing the instruction they receive in school and by guiding them towards study practices and aides that can help them to succeed.
 

At LMS, tutors work with individual students one-on-one, though we occasionally organize group activities for students who are studying the same material. We pride ourselves on teamwork as we are one big family working towards the same goal! We are looking to hire young, ambitious individuals who doesn't only teach the required material, but also relate with the youth of today!

Responsibilities:
 

• Meet students at client location or public library and go over their homework assignments in the applicable subject area or prepare them for class tests.

• Ask students about specific topics or subject areas that are giving them trouble or that warrant further exploration

• Review recent homework assignment and test scores, and work through problems or questions that the student did not answer correctly

• Be welcoming, polite, and respectful!
